Today makes it the 22nd year I’m left with just the memories of my mother, Mrs Janet Akintuyi.

Never forgotten, I’ve come to realise it’s not how long but the impact.

She did well during her lifetime. If I ever come close to being venerated, as she is now, among her kith and kin, especially her husband, I should believe I’ve assumed an angelic status.

Subsequent anniversaries will incorporate talks, events and awareness, especially on the myriad of issues associated with life and living.

I’m glad for the courage to put up a platform to relieve the memories shared by departed loved ones.
