“A good name is better than precious ointment: and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.” Ecclesiastes 7:1
At about 5:45pm today, my father bowed his head to death after months of courageous struggle with death. I give glory to God for his life and the opportunity Jesus Christ gave him as he breathed his last breath, to reaffirm his faith in Him as his Lord and Saviour.
Daddy, thank you for everything: for the care and the love, for the disciplinarian measures which straightened and strengthened me, for teaching me to be honest, hardworking and honourable at all times. Thank you for fathering me.
I love you till we meet again at the feet of our Lord Jesus.
